Mr.Lee
It depends on what fish u are wanting to grow larger, because all fish have different dietary requirements. e.g. Live foods and bloodworms are good for carnivorous fish. lee
Nigel
Plenty of water changes and plenty of oxygen also help fish grow quicker.

Rol&Jas
Do what Nigel suggest + give them high protein food that will make them grow.
ViS
What nigel said... plus.... As much space as possible. If you can afford bigger grow out tanks, then do it. Fry will pack on more size in a 4ft tank than in an 18 inch growout tank. A good quality flake such as OSI colour and growth, along with brine shrimp, microworms etc will also help them along, as will feeding them several times a day (but don't over feed them). Peter_Gun_Riff
do the auto feeders work well for fry?
ViS
I don't see why it wouldn't, but it isn't really necessary. Just feed them when you get up and when you get home from work, if that's the only chance you get. I feed mine in the morning before work, when I get home and before I go to bed. That's for the fry, but the adults get fed once daily, or once every two days.
