cobaltcraig
Hi All Have a young Colony of 7bars growing up Boy are they active like watching paint dry Anyway just wondering what would be the best foods I can offer these guys Cheers Craig
Ash
Food that doesn't move too fast! Seriously, a sinking pellet would be the go. I've heard of fronts swallowing air & upsetting their equilibrium when feeding on floating pellets. Flake is a waste of time, too large of a fish. If I owned them I'd feed them NLS 3mm Large fish formula or the higher protein Thera+A 3mm whilst growing them out. Being piscivores anything like Tetra bits will work too, my buddy feeds his 6 bars AOA bits for instance, just pick an omnivore/piscivore sinking pellet you're happy with the quality of. mianos
Mine eat tetra color bits. Mine never eat from the surface although I have seen some who do.

lee427
tetra bits, brinesrimp, bloodworms, any sinking pellets would be good. they will get more interesting as they get bigger.
YeW
Frontosa are (IMHO) not the world's most interesting cichlid. I fed mine a staple pellet (Hikari) and then the occassional piece of prawn etc.
