mickgibbo
Im about to purchase new heaters for my 4 foot tanks and was wondering what people suggest would be pros and cons between the 150 Watt and the 200 Watt Variety. My Major concern is electricity. The tanks are in a garage that gets a little cold in the middle of winter but normally is quite good the rest of the year. Thanks for your help. cobaltcraig
Hi Mick I always select the largest size I can afford as heating time overall will be less thus saving money in the long run Cheers Craig
jaymes007
id go the 200watt. If you get the 150watt it will be "on" more than the 200watt. And i think the std size heater for a 4fter is 200watt anyway? (someone please correct me if im wrong?) Plus, its always better to go bigger, you never know what you might do in the future? motorman
If your going to buy Jager there would be much point going the bigger one as the 150w will do that easily Just about all other heaters work on 1 watt per 1 litre but not jager
