Ash
maybe 4? they get big (eventually) but they are about as active as an inactive machine. still, big bioload so you'll want lots of filtration
r.d.m
i'd only ever keep fronnies in a 4x2x2(minimum) then only a small colony(1m 3f) in a standard 4 footer they wont grow properly
frontyluv
depending on size.... hm... i started out with 10 fronty fry in a 4 footer. they grow & grow.... now im down to a colony of 4 that breed every second month @30 fry each. the male is @10~11 inches now. but having said that, they need more room & am awaiting a new 6footer that i needed ayear ago the 4 footer will then be a fry growup tank. have fun .they are great fish.
