They were slightly more on the greenish side when i bought them, so a few days to go till they were ripe. they werent soft at all. i found that when i placed the semi-thawed/frozen zuchinni into the tank, the bns went on it, but then after a while, it somehow got dislodged and floated to the top. it went all mushy and just terrible! i dont think i'll be freezing much now. however on the bright side, they are feeding really well on the soft pumpkin!
