I am a litte nervous to actually put a fish in the tank im testing it on. It does all the thing it said it would ie (water contitions Ph,Kh,Gh) but i carn't bear to put a fish in to test it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zexen Posted January 10, 2004 Share Posted January 10, 2004 How are you mate I don't use the recipe as such but like to keep the water around the same parameters. In my experience with fish coming from different water, so long as you take a few precautions you shouldn't have any problems. The biggest part is introducing your fish to the new water slowly, meaning have them in a bag or bucket and add water from the tank slowly. Another trick I have used when you are dealing with particularly delicate fish is too add a couple of litres of their existing water to their new tank.
