AdamR
My brother just ordered 6 bags from reef at hornsby. Most shops can get it easy enough, all you need to do is ask. Adam
10050460
A plant ← sometimes its spelt as Riccia!,,,,its a floating plant,,with strong lights it will cover the top of the tank!!,,,,,,,it has been used to attach to driftwood, but its not easy as it will float up all the time and take a long time to attach!! [RK]
I got some from AUburn today. Dunno how long it will last, because apparently it needs a LOT of light if its tied down. And my tank only has moderate lighting.
10050460
if u really want to tie it down, just give it a go,nothing to lose!!!! if it does float up, then oh well guess u'll just have to let it grow on surface of water if your light is not too bad! what i do is i grow them in a small 1ft tank and then transfer it to the big tank!,much easier and cheaper to fertilise a small tank, u'll get alot more growing at a faster rate than in a big tank for smal type of plants!! [RK]
yeah, i was going to leave it floating and have it grow out heaps, and then tie it down. but im kinda impatient, so i just tied it down straight away. if it starts to die, then i'll float them up right under the light. Repz
i've heard from alot of sources they use nets from a bag of oranges the plastic nets to help tie em down. i was personally thinking of attaching it to pieces of drift wood and rock
