ViS
Anyone got a good link on breeding bichirs? I'm considering some albino senegalus.
Markus13
Replicate Lake Tang (water paremeters) plus a big tank and you have a good start. I personally prefer Ornates, but Senegalus are pretty cool looking critters

Alex
I hav e spawned sengalus a number of times. The easy bit is the spawning, the hard bit is hatching and raising the fry. I will post up a bit of a report on 'how to' that I wrote for a few US based sites. In the mean time check out the site in my sig, ALOT of VERY knowledgable bichir keepers that could help you far more then anyone else in Aus could. Look out for the member 'brooklamprey' and 'Eamericanus' both will be more then willing to answer all your q's.

Alex
http://aquaticpredators.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12571 This thread has some decent info in it, my username is 'Peck'. Be good to see you become a member and post there Andy, myself and the other Aussies are swamped by yanks. Also quite a large Asian member base. emp1re
i remember Alex was able to get one of his senegalus to hatch . And his is right, the most difficult part is hatching the damn eggs. I trigger my senegalus to breed by doing a large water change but no luck in hatching.
