cichlidbreeder
Hey guys I just got a mini reef with 3 tanks that use to have salt water in them. Ive washed out the tanks and the sump many of times also washed everything else. I had it running for a week and drained all the water. I refilled after a week and can still smeel and taste salt in the tanks. I want to put Malawi cichlids in the tanks which I already have in other tanks and want to know how much salt if any can be in the water b4 i put then in cos i dont want to kill them. any help or experinces would be appreiciated. thanks Vince
YeW
It should be fine... once you fill the tank do a quick test for ammonia or nitrite (in case something is rotting somewhere)... then begin your tank cycling. HTH -
