discusdude
Hey just wondering is there a list anywhere of all the cichlid species known to be avalible in Australia? If not why? Such a list would be very useful. Just a thought Cheers Alistair
Chuckmeister
Hey Alistair, The Vic and W.A cichlid societys have a combined cichlid register That tells you what has been here, or is in the state and also whether it is rare or common. It's not to be considered gospel but only as a guide and is updated as best the societies can every year. Ovbiously there are some people also that dont like to divulge what they have.... I Imagine if you get in contact with the President of the Victorian Society he would be able to supply you with one!!!! I'm not sure whether anyone has done it nationally!!!! Anita_ozfish
If Graham Rowe from the VCS can't help you, go to an EDAS meeting or contact Bruce Osborne or John Reeves from EDAS - they will definitely have that list. Sydney seems to have lost their computer copy and all printed ones as well A nation wide one would definitely be the way to go though
