fishly
I just bought a new spinning arm. But some water is leaking from the bearing section. Does it happen to yours as well? or it is just a faulty one?Regards,Fishly
Jim
All of mine do alsoThats normal for them to leak at the bearing, anyway it supplies the centre of the media with water.
bimbo
i would think that it shouldn't do that but maybe it is a design to keep the bearings lubricated. i've only used ones from Aquasonic and i'm pretty sure that they didn't leak out any water. like fishly said it keeps water flowing into the centere of the filter James
fishly
Thanks guys, I told Wayne about it already. and he is willing to swap another one when he got new stocks in few days. It must be a faulty one
Bit Racer
I've only noticed that my spinning arm will leak where the elbow joins the spinning arm. This was overcome by sealing it with the white plumbing tape (not sure what its exact name is). But you can pick it up at those discount bargain shops, or bunnings.
