xysti53
OK I built this Japanese Water Garden a couple of years ago and have decided to try and revamp it and I am looking for ideas for plants. I actually built two tanks one with live plants and the other with artifical and I would like to be able to set up with live plants again but ones that will last more than just 12 - 18 months. Any suggestions very welcome. Here are a couple of different shots of the tanks The major problem was that because the background is built of polystyrene foam the water tends to penertrate everywhere and all plant roots tend to be permanently wet. Even when plants were placed into pots if the lip of the pot was below the foam they got wet. Plants were rotated weekly with others keep in green house and managed to survive but after 12 - 18 months outgrew their pots. Graeme
