noyd
One of my frontosa's has gone real, real dark all of a sudden, and it's acting kind of paranoid, I don't think it's at a breeding age yet it's only around 3" to 4", what could be the problem? It looks very attractive also because the colours are nice and strong, but it happened quick, while I was at work, passed 8 hours. There are about 2 more at about the same size as this one, plus 2 more smaller ones.Any ideas anyone? Thanks
Serial-Cichlid
That happened to one of my fronnies a while ago when it was getting aggressive (it went extremely dark and then extremely light) but it didn't last very long. My one was about 9cm at the time.I just rearranged the rocks and after about an hour I checked on it and changed back to normal.HTHPaul
Serial-Cichlid
Also I forgot to mention that I only had 3 fronnies in the tank as well at the time when this behaviour was taking place. I've also added more to my colony since and theyr'e doing perfectly fine now.I wouldn't be surprised if the dark one was chasing the other two if they get too close to it.CheersPaul
