prince
i am wondering what food should i feed my dimi comp, they are around 5cm, currently feeding it colourbits
Burek
You can feed them most pellets made for lake malawi fish. Tetra Coulorbits are good! you can feed them Flakes. Sera Flakes are good! Most Granules you can feed to your dimi's. HTH - Daniel
YeW
See the recommended food thread/list at the top of this forum. Dimis are unfussy feeders - though they are particularly fond of conspecifics some will even eat heterospecifics. IMHO possibly the worse choice in malawi cichlids for a beginner (possibly not as bad as N. fuscotaeniatus etc.)

YeW
Prince - Do a bit of reading on the net - the recommended food thread above would be a good start. A balanced diet consists of a good staple food along with a variety of frozen foods. You need always think to yourself: "what sort of foods is my animal adapted to eating in the wild?" and tailor the food you give your fish from this. Colfish
Prince i don't and wont undo the sound advise already given by others. but BEWARE dimi's will eat anything that fits in their mouth. from various flakes, pellets, smaller fish [live or frozen] and even vege's. yes mine even fight the catfish for vege's. just be sure their diet is mainly meaty [fish freindly, not animal ]
