Eaglebarret
I have a 48x18x20 high tank. Just would like to know if having 24 african cichlids is overcrowded? The majority of them are around 5cm because they are still young with 2 being over 8 cm. I have a aquaone cf1200 and 500 canister going. What are your thoughts? Would swapping the 500 for a bigger filter increase stocking capacity?
parkesg
Hey Mate, It depends on what type of cichlids and their maximum size when full grown. Can you provide more info on the species? Grant
ViS
24 shelldwellers would be alright As Grant said, the info you gave is pretty useless to us. Please provide details of EVERY fish, including sex if possible and we'll be able to help you.
