nyassalad Posted January 9, 2005 Share Posted January 9, 2005 i have 3 electric yellows and one of them is obviously holding - you can see fry's eyes in her mouth. how long till they come out and what do you do to feed them? also, will my feather-fin catfish eat them all? thanks for any help with this, it's the first time they've bred and they're 2 years old now. MikeWs Fish Posted January 9, 2005 Share Posted January 9, 2005 you need to put the female in a tank on her own or in a fry saver basket. this is so that when she spits all the fry dont get eaten. Have a look at this. When the fry dont have a yolk sac on their belly any more, you neeed to start putting food in there. i recommend powdered or finely crushed spirulina flake.
