Ged Posted January 8, 2005 Share Posted January 8, 2005 Is anyone using computer software to aid in them in maintaining the genetic integrity of their breeding lines? I have noticed from a number of threads that people have established linebreeding processes in their breeding programs and I would presume that people would also use outcrosses. I have seen a number of commercial available products that can be adapted to fish but I have not been able to locate an aquarium dedicated program. I have developed a simple one for poultry using Microsoft Access which could be easily adapted for aquarium use. This can then be converted for use on a handheld (i.e. Ipaq) and used on location rather than in from of the computer. Ged Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
