cichlidan
HII have heard from many sources that keeping a mix of all males within a tank will significantly reduce the agression found in cichlids. i am looking at moving back into Malawi's after I gave them up in frustration about 1.5years ago. I have kept tangs much more sucessfully. Previously i kept m/f colonies of P. Similis (mean mean fish!) with yellows and blues and various other sp at different times for breeding purposes. Now I simply want to set up a display tank. Question is will i be safe going with an all male bunch? I want to keep some E yellows (Labidichromis) and Blues (Haplochromis ahli?) with some dolphins (H moori?) and a few others (undecided yet)Cheers Dan P.S sorry if the scientific names are incorrect, its been ages since I kept Malawis I am a little rusty and I have misplaced my Axelrod cichlid id book. : :
Donbennie
well the fish u have chosen so far are generally placid and well-behaved, the e.blue will probably be the most aggresive out of the 3, they will be fine if there is enough space for them to move/dig around :D
