YeW Posted December 30, 2004 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Angel - Sexing most lamprologines is tricky. Males generally get bigger - but not always. I've not kept that particular species so I dont know if there are any little tricks to sexing them. Buy 6 and wait for a pair to form is the normal method. trofius Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 I bought 4, one got real big and bred with my female daffodil!!! so I guess he is a boy.. 2 more jumped/got chased from the tank while I was away for a few days, one is left much smaller he harrases ?her? but not with any real ill intentions, they were the same size.... he is now ~9cm, the other is stil about 5... so a reall difference in size. hopefully the lil one is a female.
