ireland
Hi all I have a 4ft standard planted tank. The substrate is just aquarium gravel (2-3mm) which never siphon. I Was wondering if this is likely to affect the health of my fish in anyway. The tank is home to a lot of Apistogramma viejita and cacautoides. ' I was also wondering what others who use a similar technique for planted tanks do. Do you occasionally siphon the gravel and how do you find the health of any fish you keep with this system.Thanksmatt
Brett4Perth
I don't think the mulm is dangerous, personally I only vacuum when it becomes unsightly. Cheers,Brett
