Ash
did you recently re-arrange tank decor? Oscars are very fussy fish & will sulk if you make any changes to "their house". Also, it could be stress from being in too small of a tank?
katanaone
i have to agree with ash you will soon have to either change tanks or fish because they will easily outgrow a 3footer on the other point they are definately very fussy indeed. this may sound cruel but starve them for a day and then try to feed them again, if they dont eat in a few minutes remove the food and try afetr another day sooner or later in my experience they come around and will accept the food. by the way are they a paler colour? r.d.m
those fish imo are too big for a 3 footer, its now probably decision time
carlos
3 foot going to be barely big ennough for one, theres no way two should be kept in there. 2 oscars need ATLEAST 75 gallons. thats not even a standard 4footer!
prince
yea one of the oscar colour is more pale than other n dosn't have much colour if i put them in a 4x2x2 will they attack the other fish. in the 4x2x2 i ahve e blues, e yellows, convict, albino pleco, Maleri Gold and can the other fish when there are 2 oscar in the tank
Ash
how many of those smaller fish are in the 4x2x2 total (as in, 2 cons, 4 e yellows, etc.)? I'd hazard a guess that the plec & cons should be ok with the big O's (they are surviving with my devils) if you put the africans in the 3 footer, I dunno much about the "Maleri gold" though Oh yeah, depends on whether any of the others will fit in the oscar's mouth or not, my 2" female convict attacks my 7" RD in defence of her fry, funny to watch.
