Sutalleco Posted December 17, 2003 Share Posted December 17, 2003 i have 4 Synondontis eupteris in my 129 and they pretty much stay in the rocks and just quarrel with eachother...does anyone know about breeding them...2 are around 2.5-3 inches and 2 are around 1.5 inches.what size will they breed at? what else can anyone tell me about breeding them?thanks alot-phil Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
griffin Posted December 17, 2003 Share Posted December 17, 2003 We had some eupterus a while back that after 3 years got to 20cm total length. They grow very quickly in their first year though. They were great fish - we regret selling them.As for breeding them, don't hold your breath! They have occasionally been bred in aquarium conditions, but on most occasions I think they've been accidental spawnings. Sutalleco Posted December 18, 2003 Author Share Posted December 18, 2003 they do grow rapidly!!...i got these guys at a TINY size about 3 to 4 months ago, they were probably .5 inch, im talkin tiny...and you often dont see them for a few days, so you really notice the growth when you do see them...i kinda like the fact that they hide, it makes it a treat when they come out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
