catcher Posted November 8, 2004 Share Posted November 8, 2004 G'day all, I have this black alge growing on some terracotta ornaments as well as the Anubius leaves/stems. Looks like it starts as small dots and grows slowly, doesn't look hairy, as in stringy but just a surface growth. Doesn't seem to bother the fish. What is it and is it a problem.
