Destroyed too many filter motors........but maybe i just picked a too fine grained sand....... IMO it looks better than anything though. They are not harmful for use in an aquarium, and in fact form an integral part of buffering in hard water set-ups. merjo Depends what kind of fish you want to keep in your tank Merjo!
