ireland
Where can i get shell grit/ crushed marble? I live near Lismore in northern NSW. I think the crushed marble is difficult to get hold of outside major cities because I tried to get it for my marine tank. So I am probably more looking for places to get shell grit unless you know where i can get crushed marble! Generally, for keeping Lake tang cichlids you use a substrate to assist in buffering and a salt/buffer mix when you initially fill the tank and each time you do water changes this is right isnt it? thanks matt

BaZ
I can't help you with a supplier in Lismore, I get mine from a place in Lakemba. Have you tried the yellow pages? Buffer-wise, I use the substrate alone, but when I get excited and have a little spare time on my hands I add some salts. But the salts are a bonus for my fish, not a regular thing.
