Lee Miller
Hi CB There are three types of Pseudotropheus acei in Australia; Tanzanian (black/blue colour with a yellow tail), Msuli Point/Luwala Reef (powder blue with yellow fins and tail) and Ngara (black/blue with a white tail). They are relatively peaceful mbunas that can be kept with most other Malawi cichlids. They will eat most foods and grow to about 15cm. They haven’t been in the country all that long but the price is dropping. The Msuli Point/Luwala Reef is probably the prettiest and most expensive (e-mail me for a price ) and the Ngara is the cheapest at less than $5 for a 3cm fish. Cheers,

crabros
Hi Guys, I disagree with you Lee. The Ngara with white tail is most expensive. Between $20 - 40 ea. The Msuli Pt and Luwala reef is next $15 - 30 ea. The Tanzanian acei is the cheapest by far $ 5 - 10 ea. also depends on there sizes. ViS
My msuli points were about 6-9cm and in a colony (3m 8f) and they sold pretty much straight away. The Black ones Ben sold were only that cheap for the last auction. You will be very lucky to buy them for that price from anyone now.
aurea23
I agree with brett regarding prices and variants Ngara probably most expensicve atm followed closely by Msuli point and then tanzania. Michael
