Stocking advise

Hi Guys,

I have been lurking around these forums for awhile now, this is my first post.

I have had a Ciclid tank for about 2 months now.

The tank i have holds 440L. I currently have;

1 x Jack Dempsey

3 x firemouths

All juvenile fish.

So far I have had no issues, all is going well, fish are very healthy.

I wanted to get some ideas on what else I could put in this tank.

I am considering taking one of the firemouths to a lfs as i intended on only getting 2 but the shop I was at had a special where i could get 3 for the same price.

My Jack Dempsey does not seem too agressive thus far, he is full of personality and would have to be my favioute fish.

I have been considering maybe adding an Oscar to the tank?

Any ideas or thoughts on stocking options?

You can add more small-medium sized cichlids to the tank that are around the same size as your FMs and JD right now, so long as you plan for their eventual full grown size. SGTs, Rainbow Cichlids, Blue Eyeds, Convicts (only male or female), Nics (only male OR female), Elliotis or stuff like those could all be potential tankmates, so long as you don't understock.
