Frank
HI all,Questions for the more technical people on here.1)Have an eheim Pro 3, 2080, I find them not very powerfull when connected to a Deco chiller, the problem I find is the white rubber thing seen in the below photo keeps getting loose so the sucking/output gets reduced:http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm243/Foppermann/IMG_5870_zps2928c902.jpgIs it me having a blonde moment or is there any way of rectifying this annoying issue easily.2) Does anyone have any experience in connecting an Fluval FX5 to a chiller, have been told the FX5 is too powerfull for a Deco chiller.Would appreciate any input you may have.CheersFrank
Phenomena
Hi Frank,I've just cleaned mine today. I don't recall seeing that white rubber. Not sure if it's because I have the earlier 2080. Eheim changed that part from the grey plastic like thishttp://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=230866977541To white rubber like yourshttp://www.tierweltbedarf.de/eheim-druckstutzen-18909Notice the parts numbers aren't the same. According to people who had similar issue with you, the grey one is much better than the white.Have you tried replacing the 2 o-rings on that? If that doesn't fix, may worth replacing it.
