Crazyfish
Hi All, had abit of bad luck today on my 4x18x18, my bike fell on it and cracked the front panel!! My question is, can you get the whole panel replaced, and does anyone have a ruff idea how much it would cost? Luckily i bought a new 4ft tank from st george on friday for some new fish i will be picking up next weekend, but i still need the other one fixed for the fish i am getting,as i had to put all the fish from the cracked tank into the new tank! Red_devil
Hi Daniel, To replace the front panel would cost you more than a new tank (silly isn't it) because it is difficult to remove it. The best way is to repair it and turn it to inside (face the wall) then use plant or rocks to cover it. Good luck / Van
Crazyfish
Thanks for the reply Van , ive replaced the whole panel myself, we will see how it goes when i fill it up with water in 2 days. Daniel
Chester
It should be ok if you have repaired it yourself. Hopefully you used silicon that specifies on the tube that it is for aquarium use. Otherwise you will have a big problem.

Crazyfish
Hi calvus yep its holding water fine, and i made sure it was aquarium grade! Tony, i didnt find it to hard to strip the salastic, i used a small razorblade and methylated spirts to get it off, hope that helps!
