Cutting Foam

I find you can get good cuts from a Stanley knife/blade if you don't apply too much pressure. Just ease into the cut. Make sure it's a new blade. This obviously works better for thinner sheets of foam.

Otherwise you can run it through those hotwire foam cutters.

i use a big , really sharp, kitchen knife, nice slow strait cuts, almost lying th eknife along th efoam, so a very shallow angle. dont be in a rush to get to the bottom, you can go over the same area a few times as it is much easier, very neat finish.

I got this advcie from the guys at the foam place I go to. Get yourself an electric carving knife. I got one from Target at it's simply awsome for cutting foam. You can even cut large curves very well.
