Pierced Soul
I was looking into these guys a year or so ago. I was told to have a good look at them cos a lot of them had bent spines. I guess this was due in aprt to the limited stock thats been around
davidk
Also if anyone has experience with them, what are they like? They're a neat fish...I found IME that the adults after pairing up spent an awful lot of time holed up in their shells...If you just buy the shells, and then imagine that they're in there, it's almost the same as actually owning them.. david
CThompson
In defence of the brevis, mine are out all the time. I like the fact they (paired fish) share their shell with each other, I don't like the way the male bites me when I have to fiddle around in the tank.... Luckily he is only 40-45mm long. I think he bites a bit harder than ocellatus do, or at least his teath are sharper . Craig
Chilli Powder
There are plenty of good quality brevis here in Melb. If any of you are interested, let me know and I'll find out details as to how many my friend has etc and price. Cheers.
anchar
Hi all, I have about 20 N. brevis ready to go....but am in Perth. If you have a few people intersted it might be worth your while to freight them over. merjo
Crazyfish
I have a pair of Brevis in a 4 foot tank with a small colony of flavus,2 pakistani loaches, and 2 tyre track eels(odd tankmates, i know) but the funny thing is these fish have grown up together and the male brevis is the king of the tank, especially when some one goes next to his misses he gets really agressive, he has actually attacked my arm twice while doing a gravel change,so i would also say they are not shy at all(well mine arent anyway) acctually i think they are very entertaining.
