Other Ed
I have to many of those tiny snales in one of my tanks. I noticed that they are all over the place when I turn on the light in the morning. I remembered (vaguely) about some trick to catch them. some type of food goes in at night and take it out in the morning it would be covered in snales. (didnt see it in the FAQ) Can anyone shed some more light please, and do I poor boiling water on 'em or just chuck straight in the bin? Thanks. Ed. Chilli Powder
Try using clown loaches to clean them up. I hear they do a nice job Cheers.
YeW
Use a jam jar - put some food in it in the evening. Remove jar with snails in morning .
Link2Hell
Hi OE Use the same principle as Sab does for her fry trap (refer post in Tech) cut the top off a soft drink bottle and invert it back into the bottle drop in some pellets and leave over night Works great, the number of times you use it will depend on those *#$@@$# snails Even after UV and leaving shellgrit to dry out for months they seem to survive Chilo rhodesii, N.tretacephalus and Clown loaches will eat them I have found N.salvini and P.polleni like them also but prefer the shells cracked L2H
