Frank
Hi all, Yet another question from a beginner/new member ?? I am going on holidays from July 18th to August 8th, 2004 and it just came to me, who is gonna look after my "babies" ? What do you guys do, when you don't have family living in AU or friends you knows about cichilds ?? My friends know fish when they are buttered and served with vegetables ?? I have so small tanks each 2 feet contains: 1) pair of convicts, breeding 2 firemoouth 1 blue acara, which I happily give to good home 2) 1m/4 female lombardoi 2 small blue and black stripe cichilds forgot the name. I will be happy to have someone/body look after them here in Sydney CBD or even more them to nice "fish person" while gone. Obviously any expenses for having them I will take care of. I guess I could ask a LFS, however would prefer some knowledgable. Any ideas ??? Thanks Frank

Teamsherman
If they have stands and all running equipment i will look after them for you. Only reason they need stands is cause i have no room left on cupboards/shelfs for more tanks. Get back to me tell me what you think. Cheers, Alan. Frank
Hi Alan, Thanks so much for your message. Your help is appreciated. They don't have stands as they are used as a pertition between kitchen and lounge room, so sitting on a shelf/cupboard thingy. If I need to buy the stands so be it, not a problem, but was hoping to avoid that as buying a bigger tank when I get home, hopefully 6x2x2 and 4x2x2. Alternatively I will be happy to give you key to my place and pay you for your troubles bus/train fares etc. I am 1 minute from Wynyard. Let me know what you think or call me 9241 2352. Cheers and thanks so much Frank
Ducksta
Have you thought about automatic feeders? Although cost a bit I guess. If you make sure the tanks are clean before you go, and set it to light feedings, they chould be fine when you get home.
