New to forum. quick question, in making a foam rock background can I use dunlop multipurpose acrylic render as the cement type ageent to cover the foam. it is much easier to work with (smooth consistency) compared to standard cement mix.

If not when using ceement can you just use cement mix on it,s own without tthe saand additive.

Thanks

I've been playing around with grout making lightwieght rocks & it seems to work fine fish are still swimming & breeding.

About to start on a background for a 4x2x1 outdoor pond so will be trying sand & cement as grout becomes expensive a 25 kg bag doesn't go far.
