dawghuntr
Hey guys I just brought two new cichlids today around 6-7cm one is a red top black bar and the other is a convict. I brought them home and got them into my tank after floatations and all that. Then I noticed one of my fish attacking the convict. I thought it was nothing until more Andre became interested in the convicts side. So I examines it closer and it appears to have some scales lifted maby "bite marks" on its sides. And of closer examination of the red top it has one bite mark nothing like the convict. I have since separated the convict into a fry saver in the same tank. The breeders tanks that I purchased them from had the colonies in 1ft sectioned tanks from a big tank. My question is do you guys think this could be a disease or from aggression in the other tank? I have put a little aquarium salt into my tank incase it was agression. But if it could be disease would rather no now so my whole tank doesn't get affected. Thanks in advance.
