Tank bulding

Hi all,

I am looking for someone to either build me a new tank or pull my existing tank apart and rebuild it. It's about 10years old and one seam has started to split. I would do it myself but I just don’t have the time nor the experience in this type of tank. It isn’t your typical tank, it’s a Dalbarb B4 from memory which is a 4 foot octagonal tank in black silicon.

I have tried Dalbarb and they aren’t interested nor do they make that type of tank any longer due to splitting seams. I have also tried my local LFS who make their own tanks, they won’t touch an octagonal tank. If it didn’t have a cabinet and hood in great condition I would just buy a new tank.

Anyone got a contact or the time and experience to have a crack at this for me?

Prefer local obviously (Newcastle) but Sydney isn’t out of the question.

I have two tanks the same, the one with the seam spliting and another with a broken bridge. The one with the broken bridge is 15 years old and would have the same issue I think given it's been dry for about 10 years but can be used as a test run or for spares.

My only other option is the buy a second hand one of ebay/gumtree that doesn’t leak but I am only going to have the same issue at some stage in the future.

Maybe I cut my losses, sell it as a reptile tank and buy a new setup.
