markfnq
I have a breeding colony of Mdoka in 4X2X18 , The male has been eating the eggs during spawning this has happened on a number off occasions . He is a good quality fish , do i persevere and hope he grows out of it or replace him with one of lesser quality. ? I have a smaller colony in another tank and i am thinking of using one of the males out of that group as long as he becomes the dominant male in the larger colony . Skippy
Pull him out of the colony and see if one of the males from the other tank steps up.
malawi sand diver
Yeah I've heard the key to a mans heart is through his stomach but that's taking it too far. If it were me I'd try a new male.
Ged
Beautiful male Mark. I would swap the male out. A change for a period of time may change his behaviour.
markfnq
From one extreme to the other !Swapped the best male from the smaller colony he settled in REAL well.6 females holding in the last 18 days ! two batches in fry savers one in egg tumbler ,three to go, but it is a bit of Russian roulette picking females that are ready to strip .
