malawi sand diver
I looked at those backgrounds a while back, one of my favorite tanks uses the back to nature one, which is this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMh9wSllDC4But since then, aqua-maniac have also made background, which look more realistic IMO, ones such as this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTD5tUjOMJwLooks like they are made of harder resin which might bring out more detail rather than the rubber material of the other ones. malawi sand diver
There is an english flag at the top of it, when you click it switches to english. Great selection on that site and they look really cool. But that material sounds like it would float a fair bit if a type of polystyrene? It would just need to be siliconed in well as it would be quite buoyant?

ex0h
Yes the backgrounds are made from foam and need to be siliconed. Just a tip, take accurate internal measurements of your tank... makes things soo easy for install. I drained tank and I used 1 whole chaulking tube of sellys glass add aquarium silicon for my 6x2x2 then allowed drying time of about 2 days. ex0h
The background I had made from AquaDecor. Everything fitted like a glove. As everything is modular, it makes it great for tanks with 2 bridges or large bridges across the top of the tank.
malawi sand diver
The background looks great, nice work.Theres lots of brown rock backgrounds in Oz but not much choice for grey ones like yours. I am considering a grey one of some sort in future, similar colour to yours and may also wrap it around the sides & add rocks hanging from the top aswell which would look cool.
