I have a good breeding colony of Multies that I started about 2 1/2 years ago from 3 breeding pairs. These guys would have to be one of my all time favourite fish, they are fascinating to watch and there's always something interesting happening in their tank. At the moment my colony numbers somewhere between 50-60 plus individuals (too many to count properly) and just keeps growing I counted 12 new batches of fry yesterday. I'm going to have to divide the colony soon and start a second one :-)

None of my friends keep Multies I was just wondering how many others out there keep their own colony of Multies.

I agree they are a fantastic species to keep. I had a colony of Multies years ago and a species that I would love to have again. I kept mine on my desk at work but they became too much of a distraction.
