frankenstrat Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 i went to pick up some more fish from a keen breeder this evening.he pointed out to me that his female geophagus aripuana 1 had her egg tube showing.then she proceeded to drop eggs on a big flat rock right in front of us, the male then did his thing and she quickly picked them up in her mouth...this went on and on for over half an hour, there must have been 200+ eggs fertilised and picked up.it was almost hypnotic watching it, considering these things look bigger than most of the juvenille snapper around sydney, her egg tube was almost 1/4" thick.......thought i'd share with ya'll.luke Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
