danielsplakat
hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows a reputable breeder where i can buy a nice young or adult male amphilophus citrinellus that is PURE with no labiatus in them. if you have pure species i'd love to start this thread by seeing some pictures as well, show off your awesome fish! Andrew
Good luck on your search for true citrinellus, mate. They're a stunning fish, but so hard to find. I received a pair of true labiatus yesterday, and I will be breeding them up to reintroduce pure examples of that species to the hobby. I would also like to do the same with citrinellus, but I'm concerned there are only hybrids getting around...

Andrew
Yes, they will have a few fry per spawn...lolMy intent is to bring back the pure labiatus into the hobby by not only having them in my shop, but by wholesaling them to other shops as well. I imagine a few spawns will see that plan through...Cheers,Andrew.
