Todd Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 my krib has developed what seems to be hithd. it seems to be quite bad too... so i will do a large waterchange in the morning followed by increasing salinity levels. will this be enough? is there a medication i could buy? killiguy Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 HITH is a paracitic infection, Im not sure everyone would agree with that statement.Hexamita does play a role but HLLD is precipitated by a number of other factors that need to be addressed otherwise it will come back.Water quality is the number one factor.More water changes.
