Beardie
Just wondering how to sex Dimidiochromis Compressiceps and also at what size would a male start to colour up? mrgreen
10cm wood be the minimum size i could imagine one colouring up mate , as for sexing of this beautiful fish , i try and concentrate on fin shape , females seem to have a rounded end to there top fin , and seem to have more rounded anal fins , if ur 10cm fish (if u have more than one) seems to have a much squarer shape in both the top and anal fin , id say he'd be male , if u have a group of them try and see if u have ones with the "roundness" in there fins , and they will most likely be the girls hope this helps steve green
