Benjifred
Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing an AquaGrande 120 and hoping to run an eheim pro 2 canister along with the standard top filter set up. Is this easy enough to do? Does anyone have any experience with this particular scenario? Also, if i dont go down this road, am i much better off investing in a sump set up? any advice would be really helpful. cheers, Benji
Priscacara
I have the AR 980 and havent seen the one you mention but from what I have seen of the various models they are very similar. Where your uptake is for the inbuilt top filter there will probably be some extra holes there that would be suitable or nearly so for your canister filter pipes to fit through, the hard part may be in making sure the tube leading out the back has room to go through. I had planned to do a similar thing on mine but then the canister I ws going to use died so never went ahead, I ws going to cut a bit out to allow the tubes through. Doing it all before setup and full of water or fish I dont think it will be hard for you to do...............assuming its similar to the 980 :-)
Benjifred
Thanks heaps for that info, everything helps. How do you find the Aqua One in general? I've heard mixed reviews, but the look of them is what i'm looking for to match my place.
superbad0417
i have a aqua vital 850 (i think) and am running the standard top filter which i think is 1000 lph and also running a 1000 lph aqua one canister filter, im pretty sure the tank you are talking about is similar to mine and you shouldn't have any dramas hooking it up.
