LithoMan
Hi All i was bored and gave the kids a mission to make new caves with right angle pvc pipes with removable caps on the end.. and then to smear silicone on them and dip them on gravel for the effect.... do you think they are good for gold comps or they will be a waste ??? i have seen alot of them go in and out of them already... also have another question do you think the CYP'S go with gold comps in same tank its a 4x18x18... thanks
Priscacara
I quite like your idea, never bred them but I would assume the fish will just treat them like any other cave and make good use of them. I love your camouflage idea too.
killiguy
I like that idea,PVC is very useful but pretty ugly, much better look As far as Comps and Cyps go they work well together as long as you dont want to breed the Cyps, which I think are best bred in a species tank as the fry are ignored by the adults(But not by Comps)and females dont handle stripping or isolation well(IMO)
Josh
I think you will find the opening may be to big. Comps like a tighter opening so they can protect it.
