Rod54
You're not thinking of Kribensis Josh???? Convict females tend to have a gold colour on body dorsal and anal fin.....males don't Mature fish....males are bigger with longer fin extensions or keep the 11 in one tank....and let them sort out who's who!!! auritus
You're not thinking of Kribensis Josh???? Convict females tend to have a gold colour on body dorsal and anal fin.....males don't Mature fish....males are bigger with longer fin extensions or keep the 11 in one tank....and let them sort out who's who!!! Though most Convict females do show a gold colouration, I have indeed had females with more of a rose colour [very similar to that of the Kribs] but size [maybe 5 - 6cm] is the most reliable way to sex them. Once they have reached a suitable size for breeding, they will pair up and you would then be able to either create more bonded pairs or dispose of the unwanted fish to a LFS or fishkeeping friends. Hope This Helps CHEERS
Jackos80
Easy to sex females show a nice red belly and are smaller in size than the males.
dobbin4
Males larger, long pointer fins, female fater & smaller, red on some in the belly area, You dont say the size or could help you more. Go to photo section think they have how to put photo's on here there. Hit you google button to see photo's that will help you ID them. If your anygood at vent sexing as Chis showed you on other post its easy.
