Nathan Posted May 9, 2010 Author Share Posted May 9, 2010 well its been just over a week now and haven't had anymore deaths which is good, in fact one of the nimbochromis venustus (I think lol) seems to be growing, I dunno it could just be me but he seems bigger then when I got him, I completed my first water change last night and used pre treated/heated water with 1 tea spoon less of rift lake mix and they all still seem really relxed in there, I'm just about to head to my specialist with water samples and hopefully come home with another electric yellow to replace the one that died and possibly two rustys or something like that and they may even have my dead coral ready for me too. So far I can't really pick on the filter, to me it seems to have quality components and i'm really impressed with the near 4ft spray bar that comes with it. What media does that come with? well all the tank mates are doing really well, added a new aqua one aquis 1200 filter, works great a little louder then the ehiem but in saying that it also pumps nearly twice the volume of the ehiem I had. So far I can't really pick on the filter, to me it seems to have quality components and i'm really impressed with the near 4ft spray bar that comes with it. Nathan Posted May 31, 2010 Author Share Posted May 31, 2010 just the standard issue, decent size media baskets, 3 stage, comes with noodles decent size bio balls, and a big cotton wool pad with sponges in all media baskets, i used my existing noodles fromy ehiem to help populate the media far quicker, seems to polish the water quite well also Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
