fullychichlid
After putting that huge piece of driftwood in my tank I was having a medium amount of Tannin. Not too much and I didnt really mind the look but the wate did look a little murkey. I bought some Purigen and put it in the top of my weir. My Weir is 3/4 full of bio balls, then I put a bag of Purigen and then a sponge on top. The water passes onto the sponge then onto the Purigen and then runs through the bio balls into the sump. I woke up this morning and the tank was crsystal clear. Purigen is rechargeable unlike active charcoal and well even though expensive well worth it for crystal clear water. It is great stuff, but I think chemi-pure may be a little better.

I've had purigen in my tank for some time too, I was fighting to try and get my water remotely clear (gravel wasn't washed properly before being put in tank, and the rocks, etc. My tank has been pristine since, it works remarkably quick too.
