japes
Hi Guys, Few of the regulars from other forums such as PCS/QLDAF may have seen photographs of this new tank I've just completed. Tidbits of info: 2215 w/ Lily Pipes, 50cm ADA Style Rimless/Braceless Cube on ADA Style Stand, 150W 6500K Halide on custom mount, Hydor 200W ETH. Has been slightly rearranged since the full tank shots for a little more space at the front - removed a piece of mangrove root. - 1M 2F Apistogramma baenschi "Inka 50" (WC) - 10 Nannostomus marginatus (WC) - 5 Otocinclus sp. Male from today. Girls are looking amazing too but no decent photos as yet. Will be pinching my mates 24-70mm F2.8 this week so should get some lovely shots. N. marginatus. Cheers, japes. ctaylor
Once again, what looks better the tank? or the fish? I love you aquascaping style. Your tanks and photo's always look amazing. Well Done.
japes
Nice setup! May I ask why you chose MH, aesthetic? Thanks. MH Lighting with the point source for the gorgeous rippling, and 150W is fantastic for photographs. I had a 70W Halide on there but I had trouble shooting at anything less than ISO800 F1.8, which is unacceptable Algae still yet to creep in as well - feeds the Otocinclus
CThompson
Very impressive. You’ve done a truly great job. The only improvement I could add would be a marine style hood (open a top with doors on the front for access) to cover all the above water line unsightliness. Did you put the big leaves in dead or still green? I imagine the former.
