grungefreek Posted March 21, 2004 Share Posted March 21, 2004 Hey Guys, I dont own any test kits so i was wondering if any of you Newcastle people know off hand the hardness of the newcastle water straight out of the tap? I went to the water website and it only lists it in mg/L, and i need it in degrees of hardness. I am wanting to inject CO2 into my tank (17L) to get my plants growing, cause i cant find flourish excel in newy, but i want to know if the buffering capacity will be enough to not severly alter the pH.
